Darold Bittick

Darold Bittick is the Manager of Operations for the S-E-A Houston, TX, office where he is responsible for the oversight of technical and overhead staff members. Additionally, Darold works with local and regional clients for S-E-A business development. Darold joined S-E-A in 2004 as a fire investigator and supported clients on scene investigations and subsequent expert deposition/trial litigation.

Preceding his time with S-E-A, Darold had a 20-year career with the Houston Fire Department/Arson Bureau which included several years of conducting investigations for the Houston Office of Inspector General.  He also spent six years as a global manager for an industrial gas company involving supply chain management/quality processes. Darold earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston.

Darold’s professional involvement includes the Texas Association of Defense Counsel (TADC), Houston Claims Association (HCA), Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference (HMEIC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

As an empty nester and proud parent of two, Darold now enjoys golfing, hunting on the farm, fly fishing with his wife and playing guitar. Darold is part of a local ministry that participates in volunteer work for the community which focuses on fundraising and meeting arising needs throughout the year for charitable organizations such as Boys & Girls Country, Houston Food Bank and Star of Hope Mission.
