Biography
Mr. Wadding is a civil engineering graduate of Florida International University and is also an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and an affiliate of the Utility Arborist Association. He is responsible for evaluations pertaining to vegetation management and working in proximity to electrical hazards and minimum approach distances, as related to ANSI Z133, North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and OSHA requirements.
His expertise includes evaluations of tree installation depth, root ball sizing standards, tree staking/supports, soil management and compaction at planting location, evidence of line contact vegetation growth projections for remediation/replacement costs. Mr. Wadding has received training in 3D cameras and 3D laser scanning technology, and as a licensed drone pilot, he is able to implement unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for 3D data capture and has collected and processed an array of 3D surveys in multiple disciplines, including civil/site and vertical structures, vehicular accident reconstruction, and mechanical applications.
Mr. Wadding is experienced in the management and maintenance of vegetation elements at overhead utilities, including poles, cables, transformers, and other distribution infrastructure. Performs investigations that relate to vegetation elements, including tree condition surveys, and landscape management and maintenance in accordance with ANSI A300.
