She has cataloged in all formats including books, government documents, sound recordings, video, maps, and electronic media, and has extensive experience utilizing MARC cataloging standards and Library of Congress Subject Headings and Classification.
Lisa has established cataloging rules for electronic resources, developed detailed cataloging specifications for multiple libraries, and created training materials to ensure consistent cataloging training for new hires and existing staff.
During her graduate studies, she served as a graduate assistant in the Indiana Center for Global Business at Indiana University providing market research to businesses in Indiana seeking to expand internationally. Lisa is active in a variety of library associations and is a past presenter at the annual American Library Association conference.
