Mr. Scarnecchia earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Mr. Scarnecchia joined SEA, Ltd in 2014 after spending 21 years at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. His primary responsibilities as a test engineer were to develop and validate vehicle components and sub-systems for production cars and trucks in the North American market. In his new role, Mr. Scarnecchia is now responsible for investigations of mechanical equipment failures involving machine tooling, power equipment, agricultural and construction machinery, manufacturing equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vehicle components and hand/power tools. He also performs accident investigation and reconstruction of single and multiple-vehicle accidents. Mr. Scarnecchia is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and a licensed engineer in Texas and its surrounding states.
