Mr. McLaughlin received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He is responsible for investigating failures of mechanical systems and equipment, including, but not limited to, plumbing components and piping systems (during and subsequent to construction), various residential and commercial appliances, heat transfer products, commercial high-rise (including chillers and cooling towers) and residential HVAC equipment, building tightness including the existence of positive/negative pressures, commercial kitchen equipment and exhaust hoods, and refrigeration systems and refrigeration equipment. Prior to joining S-E-A, he worked in the construction industry as a designer, inspector, and commissioning agent. Mr. McLaughlin is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), a LEED Green Associate, and is a member of Associate Member of American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
