Mr. Simon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. Prior to joining S-E-A, he spent 13 years as an electrical engineer in manufacturing, designing, building, and commissioning of production lines for the factory floor. His responsibilities at S-E-A include the investigation of electrical faults and malfunctions, particularly those suspected of causing a fire, equipment damage, or personal injury.
Prior to joining S-E-A, worked for a systems integration engineering firm as a senior engineer and project lead in designing, building, and commissioning of electrical panels, motor control centers, instrumentation, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA), and factory floor automation in manufacturing facilities. He is experienced with several manufacturing industry processes, including food and beverage, consumer products, and building materials.
Mr. Simon is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida. His professional affiliations include the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the International Society of Automation (ISA).
