Gerry graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He is a Senior Project Engineer and has worked in forensic engineering with SEA since 1991. He is a registered professional engineer in numerous states, including Missouri and Illinois, as well as a registered structural engineer in Illinois. Gerry has extensive experience in structural failures, and damage to structures and roofs from wind, hail, snow, blasting, lightning, flood, earthquakes, and construction vibration. He is also experienced in the evaluation of fire-damaged buildings, underground sewer and water system failures, and moisture intrusion. 

Mr. McIntyre has expertise in the evaluation of pedestrian ingress/egress ways, including the evaluation of walkway slip resistance and review of applicable code requirements. He has provided expert testimony in state and federal courts. In addition, Mr. McIntyre has extensive experience in reviewing structural designs for code compliance. Prior to joining SEA, Gerry had nine years experience in commercial design as a project structural engineer. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
