Trevor Law

Mr. Law attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Miami University located in Oxford, Ohio. As a Mechanical Consultant based in S-E-A’s Baltimore office, he works primarily with the Transportation Accident Reconstruction group performing examinations and investigations of vehicles and accident sites, including, but not limited to, heavy vehicle and equipment, motorcycle incidents, single/multi car collisions, and pedestrian strikes. His capabilities include 3D documentation and analysis of vehicle and scene investigations, crash reconstruction simulations with HVE software, and electronic data retrieval from vehicle airbag control modules (ACMs) and heavy truck engine control modules (ECMs). Mr. Law is a FAA Part 107 licensed small, unmanned aircraft systems pilot.

Prior to SEA, Mr. Law worked in the auto racing industry as a race engineer and mechanic for an SCCA customer service racing team performing real-time evaluation of mechanical issues, and an understanding of vehicle set-up and its influence on dynamic behavior. Mr. Law also founded the Formula Electric SAE team at Miami University with whom he designed braking and suspension systems, and a thermal management system for the lithium-ion battery pack.
