Jesse Griffin

Mr. Griffin earned his Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, and his Associate of Science degree from Gaston Community College. At S-E-A, Mr. Griffin works as a mechanical consultant. Capitalizing on his testing and simulation background, Mr. Griffin is responsible for performing forensic investigations as they relate to incident causation, accident reconstruction, product failures, machine guarding, and standards compliance. Mr. Griffin also utilizes his skills to perform design analysis and test research for clients to characterize the performance or specifications of their industrial or consumer products.

Mr. Griffin spent eight years working at Husqvarna as a test engineer working with turf equipment, snow throwers and handheld outdoor power tools. He utilized simulation and experimental test methods to diagnose failure mechanisms, reduce material costs, and increase product and component life. Mr. Griffin spent two years working at Jacobsen of Textron as a test engineer working with side by sides, turf equipment, and rear-steer tractors.

During undergraduate school, Mr. Griffin worked at Controls Southeast Incorporated in process heating solutions as a mechanical engineering intern. During this time, he performed CAD modeling, thermo-fluid calculations, pressure testing, and initial client estimations.
