Biography
Ms. Christman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University, and her Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Structural Engineering and Mechanics, from the University of Washington. Ms. Christman is responsible for providing forensic engineering evaluation and analysis of structures and/or their components to determine the presence, extent, and/or cause of damage due to partial or full collapse, storms, water intrusion, fire, or other potential phenomena. She consults on projects in a variety of sectors, such as commercial, industrial, educational, and residential. Additionally, she is familiar with numerous construction materials, including steel, concrete, wood framing, masonry, roofing, roof/exterior wall claddings.
Prior to joining S-E-A, Ms. Christman conducted investigations in multiple states, as well as abroad, including earthquake damage evaluation work in New Zealand in 2017-2018, in response to the Canterbury Earthquake Sequence (CES) of 2010-2011, and the Kaikoura Earthquake of 2016.
Ms. Christman is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in multiple states. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Structural Engineering Institute (SEI).
