Adam Anderson

Mr. Anderson is an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Operating out of S-E-A’s Charlotte office, his responsibilities include providing evaluations regarding the cause of electrical faults and malfunctions that result in losses involving fire, shock, electrocution, arc-flash, and equipment damage.
Mr. Anderson also investigates losses involving power quality, lightning, and various types of electrical power systems, control systems, and electric utility equipment, including electric meters, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, generators, power lines, and solar photovoltaic systems.

Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Anderson worked for an electric utility provider for over 15 years. During his time working in the utility industry, he supported various aspects of power delivery from nuclear power generation to power distribution and delivery. He developed standards for utility distribution systems and evaluated smart meters with two-way communications. Recently, he led projects aimed at improving utility digital customer interactions including power outage detection and ongoing management of net metering solar installations.

Mr. Anderson is currently a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
