Ami Dwyer

Ms. Dwyer serves as S-E-A’s General Counsel.

Prior to working at S-E-A, Ms. Dwyer worked in private practice for 22 years. Her primary focus was on all aspects of litigation relating to the construction industry, including construction defect and injury, product liability, professional liability and commercial disputes. Along with her background in litigation, she has extensive experience in mediation, arbitration and appellate practice, as well as with multi-district and class action litigation.

During her time in private practice, she was active in leadership in many legal and industry organizations, and routinely taught classes on issues including risk management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction contract language and negotiation, OSHA, trial strategy and other related topics.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English/Writing from Loyola University Maryland and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
