Davis Edwards

Mr. Edwards serves as a technical consultant in the area of crash reconstruction, involving passenger vehicles, light and heavy commercial vehicles, motorcycles, heavy equipment, off-road equipment, and pedestrians, including Event Data Recorder imaging and analysis. Additional capabilities include vehicle component failure analysis, vehicle dynamics testing, and vehicle dynamics modeling. Provides technical findings and conclusions via verbal and written reports for non-technical personnel. Experienced with the use of 3D scanning equipment for documenting vehicles, scenes, and evidence for use in analysis of vehicle crashes. Additional duties include providing small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) pilot services for video/photographic documentation for scene and evidence preservation.

Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Edwards has worked previously in OEM automotive design, R&D, and manufacturing with has experience with suppliers and assembly lines. He also gained experience as a design engineer and project manager with a mechanical design consultant engineering firm. He performed design, review of design, and contract administration for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems for new construction and retrofit projects.

Davis is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states. He received his Bachelor Mechanical Engineering degree from Auburn University.
