Biography
Mr. Reynolds earned his Master of Science degree in Fire and Explosion Investigations from the University of New Haven, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science and Analysis from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, Ireland. His responsibilities at SEA include conducting and coordinating fire/explosion analysis and investigations in accordance with NFPA 921, Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations, and NFPA 1033, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator. Mr. Reynolds is also responsible for coordinating and participating in various activities for the evaluation of electrical and mechanical equipment, systems, and devices.
Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Reynolds spent over 12 years in the automotive industry, as an auto mechanic, a service/warranty advisor and a parts advisor. Mr. Reynolds also has experience in specialized IT systems, where his role was to carry out break/fix solutions as a Field Service Engineer.
Mr. Reynolds is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), and he is certified as a Fire Investigation Technician (IAAI โ FIT). Mr. Reynolds was awarded a Provost Assistantship at the University of New Haven where he taught Fire Investigation.
Mr. Reynolds has also lectured to the New York Fire Departments – Bureau of Fire Investigation.
