Jacob Stoner

Mr. Stoner received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He works with the Transportation Accident Reconstruction group performing inspections, investigations and analysis of vehicles and accident sites, including, but not limited to, pedestrian strikes, single/multi-car collisions, motorcycle incidents, heavy trucking incidents, and heavy and off-road equipment. His capabilities also include vehicle air bag, ECM, and safety system data extraction and analysis. He is experienced in gathering 3D data for documentation and analysis of scene and vehicle investigations and is a certified CDR Technician. Mr. Stoner is an FAA-certified Remote Pilot.                 Mr. Stoner has experience in simulation of vehicle accidents and is a multiple-time published author in the accident reconstruction field.

As a part of a cooperative education program, Mr. Stoner worked in the defense industry. This program involved engineering analysis and engineering production, manufacturing, product testing, ASME code analysis, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Mr. Stoner is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in several states. He is also an SAE member and an SAE certified accident reconstructionist.
