Biography

Mr. Park earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake and is a Certified Director of Safety through the Texas Trucking Association. At S-E-A, he is responsible for the investigation and consultation of losses in the transportation industry, particularly those involving commercial motor vehicles (CMV). CMV related losses include issues of cargo and securement, carrier policies, hours of service, records of duty/record retention, and driver hiring/training. Mr. Park is experienced and trained in identifying and applying regulations, standards, and industry practices as they relate to transportation safety.

Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Park worked as a Safety Supervisor and a Safety Director for a trucking and transportation services company that operated throughout North America. He developed and maintained a safe work environment in accordance with company policies and applicable rules/regulations for the transportation fleet consisting of more than 350 equipment assets and 150 owner/operators. The fleet operated/hauled specialized equipment, open-deck, van, and drive-away equipment. Mr. Park developed internal training programs and partnered with third party vendors to provide training for CMV drivers including: defensive driving, cargo securement, and vehicle inspections. He also conducted risk management, root cause analysis, and incident investigations. Mr. Park also coordinated project safety programs.

Mr. Park is a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Council of Safety Professions and has extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of transportation safety.
