Paul Wischt

Mr. Wischt received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron. As a Mechanical Consultant based in S-E-A’s Cleveland office, his expertise includes vehicle accident investigation and reconstruction, accident data collection, and vehicle component failure analysis.

Prior to his time at S-E-A, Mr. Wischt worked for 3 years in the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry as a design engineer. His responsibilities included structural solutions using Finite Element Analysis, component failure diagnostics, new vehicle line development for diesel and EV, and evaluating the latest EV technology. Prior to this, he spent eight years in the tire industry as a product design engineer. His tire work consisted of development program management, new pattern technology creation, improving performance, validating design, failure diagnostics, and simulation expertise. Prior to this, he was a CNC lathe machinist and led the quality control department at a machine shop.

Mr. Wischt is a member of SAE International (formerly Society of Automotive Engineers), American Motorcycle Association (AMA), and National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS). He is certified as a remote pilot of small, unmanned aircraft systems (s-UAS), FARO Focus Scanner user, Bosch CDR tool technician, and PADI scuba diver.
