Philip Carlson

Mr. Carlson received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological and Premedical Illustration from Iowa State University and his Master of Arts in Biomedical Communications from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center which gave him an education in both the life sciences and visual communication. Mr. Carlson collaborates with biomechanical/biomedical engineers, scientists, physicians, and other specialists to transform complex information into visual images that have the potential to communicate to the intended audience. His duties include creating accurate medical Illustrations and animations to support specialists with expert testimony, medical device performance, medical-legal analysis, and jury education. He also supports the Image Sciences/Animation department with general graphics and animations.
