Sean T. Buczek

Mr. Sean Buczek earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. He is responsible for investigating accidents and failures and performing design reviews of mechanical equipment and systems, including, but not limited to, HVAC systems, piping systems, plumbing systems, mechanical products and appliances, power plant auxiliary systems, power generation systems, district heating/cooling systems, and wind power systems.

Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Buczek spent 10 years at a large electric and gas utility. His primary responsibilities as a mechanical engineer were to manage capital projects in coal, natural gas, hydroelectric, and wind power plants. As a Project Engineer, Mr. Buczek was responsible for providing engineering, quality, and construction oversight in the design and construction of over one gigawatt worth of new electric generating facilities. Most recently, Mr. Buczek held the position of Lead Project Engineer for, at the time, the largest single-phase wind farm in the country.
