Tom Bonadies

Mr. Bonadies earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining S-E-A, he spent six years in the automotive industry, where he worked for a major automobile manufacturer in a variety of engineering roles pertaining to the design and production of conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

Mr. Bonadies’ responsibilities at S-E-A include investigating, analyzing, and reconstructing accidents involving automobiles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians, as well as causation analyses and testing for mechanical product failures. He is experienced in surveying crash sites utilizing 3D laser scanners and drone aerial photography, downloading and analyzing event data recorder (EDR) systems of automobiles and commercial vehicles, building 3D computer models of accident sites and vehicles, and simulating crashes with HVE (Human-Vehicle-Environment) simulation software.
