William Giannaras

Mr. Giannaras received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and a minor in Math from Hofstra University. As a Civil/Structural engineer at S-E-A, Mr. Giannaras performs forensic investigations and evaluations of roof coverings, building envelopes, fenestrations, waterproofing systems, and structural elements. Mr. Giannaras is experienced with the assessment of commercial, municipal, industrial, and residential structures for a variety of damages, including water intrusion, storm events, vibration, impacts, collapse, fire, and other damage associated with potentially defective design and construction.

Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Giannaras worked as a design consultant focused on building enclosure elements and civil site engineering. Responsibilities included developing engineering studies, reports, cost estimates, specifications, and drawings for municipal and commercial structures.
Mr. Giannaras also has experience with performance testing exterior glazing systems. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states. Mr. Giannaras is a member of International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), National Roofing Contractor Association (NRCA), and Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA).
