Yvonne A. Brooks

Ms. Brooks is a Mechanical Consultant, focusing on vehicle accident reconstruction involving passenger vehicles, light and heavy commercial vehicles, motorcycles, heavy equipment, off-road equipment, bicycles, and pedestrians, including Event Data Recorder (“black box”) imaging and analysis. Ms. Brooks is experienced in surveying crash sites utilizing 3D laser scanners and drone aerial photography. She is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Prior to joining S-E-A, Ms. Brooks spent 16 years working in automotive testing and design, mainly with braking and suspension systems. While working within the automotive industry, Yvonne managed the progress of new/existing conventional foundation and electronic brake component designs for original equipment manufacturer customer applications, worked with component engineers and suppliers to drive implementation of all engineering solutions and was responsible for executing brake and suspension component testing.

Ms. Brooks earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. She is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
