Zackary Marshall

Mr. Marshall earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mr. Marshall gained experience in mechanical engineering through his design role on the Pack Motorsports Baja SAE team. In this role, Mr. Marshall designed and optimized suspension system components aimed at vehicle weight reduction. This process would involve component development from concept through manufacturing and competition. Mr. Marshall was often focused on static and fatigue FEA analysis utilizing topology studies of component CAD models to optimize strength-to-weight ratios and dictate material selection. Mr. Marshall often incorporated rapid prototyping into component testing via FDM processes.

During college, Mr. Marshall gained industry experience as a Sales and Applications Engineer for an industrial boiler and burner service provider and parts distributor. In this role, Mr. Marshall identified industrial boiler parts and solutions for customers.

Since joining S-E-A, Mr. Marshall has applied his automotive and mechanical systems experience towards forensic investigations of automotive and commercial vehicle accidents, mechanical systems failures, and product design. Mr. Marshall has continued his education and training through the successful completion of Northwestern University Crash Investigation 1 and FARO Focus laser scanner certification. Mr. Marshall is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), as well as an FAA licensed drone pilot.
