Jeandona Doreste

Mr. Doreste is a Civil/Structural Engineer in the Atlanta, Georgia, office. He performs forensic investigations, evaluations, and analysis of existing commercial and residential structures to determine the presence, extent, and/or cause of damage to building components resulting from fire, collapse, storm, water intrusion, roofing system failures, truss damage, foundation settlement, and vibration. He provides investigation and consultation for a variety of projects, including, but not limited to, code compliance, structural allegations, roof systems, building envelope/fenestration failures and ancillary structures such as pavements, seawalls, docks, pools, and screen enclosures.

Prior to joining S-E-A, Mr. Doreste had approximately eleven years performing roof and structural condition assessments, forensic investigations and documenting evidence for cause and origin cases, structural damage, construction defect, and performed sinkhole investigations to help clients address questions of structural integrity (mix of residential and commercial), serviceability (water intrusion, wind and hail, water losses (cast-iron), and assisted clients in making informed decisions concerning legal cases.

Mr. Doreste is a registered Professional Engineer and holds licenses in multiple states. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He is listed with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
